Vacancy – Chief Financial and Administration Officer

The MRA is a public corporate body designated as the National Greenhouse Gas Inventory Agency. It is also the competent Authority for the Emissions Trading System. Other reporting obligations on greenhouse gas emissions and the implementation of market-based measures relating to greenhouse gases are also within its remit.

The MRA will soon be replaced with the Climate Action Authority,  following the agreement reached in Parliament on the Act establishing the CAA. This vacancy is part of process of setting up the Climate Action Authority.

The CAA will take over the current functions of the MRA, its assets, and its staff. In addition, the CAA will coordinate national efforts to achieve the climate goals, raise awareness about climate changes, and implement mitigation and adaptation programs, among other things.
